Edward Cullen:  ( picture above ) - H.O.T!

Edward was born in Chicago, 1901. Carlisle had been working night shifts at Chicago hospital when he found Edward, dying of Spanish Influenza. Carlisle had nursed both of Edward's dead parents and knew that there was no hope left for him. After being created Edward went off by himself and survived on the blood of humans until later he went back to Carlisle and Esme realizing that their way of living was better than killing animals. Edward has the power to read peoples minds, except for his one true love, Bella. Edward quite often saves Bella's life as she has had her fair share of near-death experiences. Edward is in love with Bella, whom doesn't become a vampire till Breaking Dawn.

Alice Cullen: ( picture above ) - pretty and unpredictable

Little is known about Alice's human life, it is believed that she has no human memories because the  person created her did it in the dark. She was created because she was being tracked by James who also tracked Bella. Alice is in love with Jasper. Alice has the power to see the future, but she can only see vampires and humans, though her powers are limited, the future can always change.

Jasper Hale : ( picture above ) - CUTE! lolz

The public story between Jasper and Rosalie is that they are twins, therefore having the last name Hale, it is also the public story that they are somehow related to Esme. Jasper was created by a vampire by the name of Maria. Jasper spent the first part of is new life fighting with Maria and other newborns over teritorial desputes. Jasper is described to be marked with many scars from his fighting days. Jasper is in love with Alice, who knew Jasper was looking for her before he knew it himself! Jasper has the power to munipulate emotions.

 Rosalie Hale: ( picture above ) - self obsorbed!

You already know the publice story of the Hale's. Rosalie was a rich girl in the 1930's, she had a fiancee whose name was Royce. When one night, she was walking home when Royce and a bunch of drunk mates started to rape her. She was left in the street to die when Carlisle found her and took her home and then created her. Rosalie is in love with Emmett.

Emmett Cullen: ( picture above ) - awesumm

Emmett was mauled by a bear, when he was found by Rosalie. Rose carried him over 100 miles to Carlisle unsure if she would be able to change him herself. She rescued Emmett because his face reminded her of her old best friends baby as Rose had always wanted her own baby. Emmett is in love with Rosalie.

Esme Cullen: ( picture above ) - beautiful!

Esme had lost her husband in WW1, Charles Evenson, which caused her to run away. She then found out she was pregnant and lost her first and last child just a few days after birth. This made her jump off a cliff. They took her to the morgue with her heart still beating, Carlisle found her and turned her into a vampire as there was no hope as the injuries may have been fatal. Esme is Carlisles wife now.

Carlisle Cullen: ( picture above ) - smexiie!

Carlisle is the oldest of the Olympic coven. He was born in London in the 1600's. he was attacked by a vampire and when he found out what he had become he shied away from sivilization for as long as possible. Then he found he could survive  on the blood of animals. He had been tossing the idea of having a partener for a while and since he couldn't find one, he would have to creat one. He wasn't sure how his own transformation had occurred so he was insure. When he found Edward dying in the hospital, he knew there was no hope for him and created him. The same thing when Esme jumped off a cliff, when Rosalie was raped and when Emmett was mauled by a bear. Once Alice found Jasper, she had a vision of Carlisle and his family and their ways. So they joined them. Jasper had a hard time fitting in with the animal blood diet as he had been drinking human blood for years. Carlisle is a kind compassionate person who apparently has celebrated his 362nd birthday...God and i thought my granny was old.

The Covens

There are seven different vampire covens. The Amazon Coven, the Denali Coven, the Egyptian Coven, the Irish Coven, the Olympic Coven (The Cullens), the Romanian Coven and the Volturi Coven. There is also the Volturi Guard, the American Nomads, and the European Nomads.

Zafrina builds a strong relationship with Renesmee Cullen, who is said to have liked Zafrina and her "pretty pictures". Zafrina has Bella promise to bring Renesmee to visit her in the future.

The Volturi

The vampire coven known as the Volturi resides in Volterra, Italy. They are regarded as "royalty" by other vampires because they have lived for well over three thousand years and act as police, enforcing the rule that vampires' existence remain a secret from humans. They often send others to travel from Volterra to prevent  covens and renegade vampires from exposing their kind. They are guarded by several powerful vampires who have been recruited for their powers and skills. Carlisle once stayed with the coven as a guest, but left due to his desire to avoid harming humans and established his own coven. At the end of New Moon the Volturi discover that Bella has learned their secret and demand that she become a vampire or be killed. In Breaking Dawn, the vampire Irina goes to the Volturi and warns them that the Cullens have created an immortal child ( Renesmee ). The Volturi coven travel to Forks to destroy Renesmee, but leave once they realize that she poses no threat.

Who is in The Volturi Coven???

The Volturi leaders include Aro, who can read every thought a person has ever had once he has made physical contact, Marcus, who senses relationships, and Caius, who has no known power.

Aro's wife, Sulpicia, Caius' wife, Athenodora, and Marcus' wife, Didyme, who had the power to make others happy, also act as leaders. Despite her hopes to become a vampire, Didyme is killed by the Volturi by the events of Breaking Dawn.

The Volturi guard consists of 32 members, including Jane, Alec, Demetri, Chelsea, Corin, Santiago, Felix, Heidi, Afton and Renata. The majority of the Volturi remain nameless throughout the series.

There is also a human secretary named Gianna who appears in New Moon. Despite her hopes to become a vampire, she is killed by the Volturi by the events Breaking Dawn.

The Volturi have invited Carlisle, Edward, Alice, Kate, Benjamin, Zafrina, and Bella to join them, though all have refused.

Michael Sheen plays Aro in New Moon.- lol  He doesn't look like a vampire...

Aro is the leader of the volturi. He is said to be over 1000 years old. A decade after having been transformed into a vampire, Aro also changed his sister Didyme, with hope that she would posses an ability similar to his. Aro's special ability is at one touch, he can read every thought you've ever had. However, Didyme was blessed with an ability not as useful to him; the power to make people happy. Aro's colleague , Marcus fell in love with her, and she with him. However, Marcus soon became too distracted by Didyme, that he wasn't being loyal to the Volturi.  In order to prevent them both leaving, Aro killed Didyme. Aro then had Chelsea use her power to make Marcus loyal to the Volturi again. Aro soon changed Alec and Jane, he wanted to wait until they were older but villagers forced him to do it sooner. Aro bonded with Sulpicia, another member ogf the Volturi.

Christopher Heyerdahl will play Marcus in New Moon. - this guy looks serious. lol

Marcus is one of the leaders of the Volturi, along with Aro and Caius.  Marcus bonded with Didyme (she could make people happy), who was also Aro's sister. Aro killed Didyme, because he was being distracted by her, but he Aro never told Marcus the truth.  That loss, over the centuries, turned him into the apathetic zombie he is today. Marcus' special ability is to sense relationships. When Marcus first encounters Bella and Edward, he is surprised by the intensity of their relationship. He shares this information with Aro mentally and never utters a single word.

Jamie Campbell Bower will play Caius in New Moon. - omg he looks WEIRD

 Caius was born about 1000 BC, and at some point became a vampire. He later joined the Volturi, along with Aro and Marcus. It is unknown if Caius ever met or known Didyme, Marcus's wife and Aro's genetic sister, or if he knows that Aro killed her himself. Later two female vampires joined the Volturi: Sulpicia and Athenodora, who were cousins. Sulpicia soon became Aro's wife and ;Athenodora later became Caius's wife. Some 2000 years before Breaking Dawn, he was nearly killed by a werewolf in a fight, and never got over it, so he hunted werewolves to near extintion. In New Moon, Caius was insistent that Bella not be allowed to leave Italy alive.  When it was determined that Edward planned to change Bella, Caius was disappointed, but Aro assured him that they would try again to persuade them to join.

Demetri: ( picture above )

Charlie Bewley will play Demetri in New Moon - omg his face is priceless!

Demetri is a tracker, much more powerful then James ever was. He catches the "tenor" of a person's thoughts, and is drawn to it. It is believed that he would not be able to track Bella, because she is protected from mind-based abilities. He is an immense threat towards the Cullens' survival in Breaking Dawn, as he could trace any of them if they managed to escape during the confrontation with the Volturi over killing Renesmee. It's apparent that he has a crush on Heidi.  

Felix: ( picture above )

Daniel Cudmore will play Felix in New Moon - woah he looks like a ninja

Felix is one of the guards of the Volturi. His motivation is not at all described in the books. The only times that his character is described is what he does physically, and how he speaks to Bella and Edward. Bella describes him as "very big, tall and thick" and observes that his size reminds her of Emmett. He is not gifted, so why keep him? It is assumed that he is kept in the guard because of his immense strength.

Cameron Bright will be playing Alec in New Moon - omg omg he is soo hot!

Alec is twins with Jane, like Jasper and Rosalie. Alec has an extremely powerful gift which is equally powerful as his twin Jane’s. He has the ability to cut off a person's senses. He can make them blind, deaf, and numb to any feeling if he wishes to.  The Volturi had their eyes on Jane and Alec when they were human as potential people to change, but were waiting until they were older to change them. When frightened humans threatened to burn the twins at the stake, Aro was forced to change them while they were still young. Alec, along with Jane, has since become one of the Volturi's most valued guards.

Dakota Fanning will play Jane in New Moon - she is too girly 4 New Moon...lol

Jane is Alec's twin sister. The Volturi had their eyes on Jane and Alec, but were waiting until they were older to change them.  When frightened humans burned them at the stake, Aro was forced to change them while they were still young. Jane creates an illusion of pain.  but the pain does not truly affect their body in any way. Her power controls the brain to fool one into thinking he or she is feeling pain. This power is useful for fighting since she is small. Like other vampires with powers that affect the mind, her power does nothing to Bella, who is regarded by the Volturi as a "shield". Jane often uses her power when commanded from Aro to punish vampires. Jane accompanied the Volturi when they went to destroy the Cullens. While Aro and Caius "discussed" Renesmee's threat to the vampire world, she tried to attack Carlisle and Edward with her powers, but Bella blocked her before she reached either of them. This infuriated Jane and she tried several times to inflict pain on Edward, but her power had no effect within Bella's nullifying shield.

Heidi: ( picture above )

Heidi will be played by Noot Seear in New Moon - woah! She is pretty! 'Noot' ?

 Heidi's special ability is to create illusions of someone's desires, therefore luring people into traps. Heidi played a short appearance in New Moon where she brought in old humans for the Volturi to eat. Aro really liked Heidi since he was impressed by her talents. Heidi was also mentioned where she along with all the guards, arrive to Forks to exterminate the Cullens for creating an immmortal child. But since they realize that the half-breed, Renesmee isn't a threat, she, along with every Volturi, leave.

 Chelsea has been a key member of the Volturi for centuries, who bonds with another member of the Volturi, by the name of Afton. Chelsea can read the ties of people, like Marcus. but she can also influence those ties. She can make people turn away from others, and also strengthen the bond of one person to another. Aro used this power to keep Marcus loyal to the Volturi after his love, Didyme,'s death. Her main purpose in the guard is to separate the guilty from the innocent by breaking their relational ties. When a vampire turns up that Aro is interested in, she strengthens the ties of that vampire to the Volturi, to influence them to serve willingly. However, as stated by Edward Cullen, she cannot as easily influence the emotional ties of people when those ties are stronger that just friends or acquaintances . She could not have changed the way Edward felt about Bella, for example.

Afton:

 Although we know from the Vampire Index in the back of Breaking Dawn that Afton has a Talent, it is never named. Afton bonded with Chelsea.

Corin:

Barely anything is known about Corin. All that is is that he has a special ability, even that is unknown.

Renata:

Renata is a powerful shield against a physical attack. If someone approaches her, they find themselves…diverted. There’s a force around her that repels, though it’s almost unnoticeable. You simply find yourself going in a different direction than you planned, with a confused memory as to why you wanted to go that other way in the first place. She can project her shield several meters out from herself and usually hangs around Aro because he is the main person to be protected.
