 THE FRONT COVER The front cover of Eclipse is a ribbon, torn in half. The two halves stand for werewolf, and vampire: Jacob or Edward. This is because in Eclipse, Bella has to choose between her friendship with Jacob and her love for Edward. 'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightely up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crished mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us.
As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings, and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. WARNING: MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD!!!!! Major Happening in Eclipse: Victoria's war There have been mysterious killings throughout Seattle, a unknown vampire in Bella's room & a vicious vampire out for revenge. Can all these things be related? On top of that, Bella is still having trouble deciding between Jacob & Edward. What is one all but average teenage girl to do? Go hide in a tent? Well, thats exactly what she does. To confuse the scents, Bella rides on Jacob's back to a small tent where she stays while the Cullens and the werewolves fight Victoria's newborn army (newly bitten humans...then they become vampires...). Seth & Edward stay at the tent to guard Bella. Eventually Victoria & her "new love" Riley (also a newborn) find Bella & attempt to attack her, but Edward & Seth kill them. 7 vampires, Sam's pack of werewolves... ( GOOD SIDE ) VS. Victoria, Riley and the 20 other newborns...( BAD SIDE ) FIGHTING OVER???? - Bellas life WINNER? - The good side ...duh!!!! If it was the bad side then there wouldn't be a Breaking Dawn!!!! |
